H.R. No. 1856



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Those people who dedicate themselves to serving the 
greater community are indeed deserving of the respect and 
admiration of their fellow citizens, and Sergio Lewis is truly one 
such individual; and
	WHEREAS, Elected in 2005 as trustee of the El Paso ISD, Sergio 
Lewis has taken on the duties of this challenging post determined to 
make a positive difference in the community he is proud to call 
home; and
	WHEREAS, During his tenure in office, Sergio Lewis will 
devote untold hours to planning a brighter future for area 
schoolchildren, while setting high standards in office to which all 
may aspire; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Sergio Lewis on his election to the 
role of trustee of the El Paso ISD and extend to this esteemed 
public servant sincere best wishes for success and achievement in 
office; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Sergio Lewis as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
