H.R. No. 1906



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, On August 4, 2004, the Honorable Miguel David Wise 
and Erin Duffy Wise of Weslaco marked a noteworthy milestone in 
their lives as they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary; and
	WHEREAS, United in marriage on August 4, 1984, they set about 
the worthwhile work of building a home together, and throughout 
life's trials and triumphs, their greatest source of pride and joy 
has remained their loving and close-knit family, particularly their 
sons, Miguel David Wise III, Mark Riborg Wise, and Zachary August 
Wise; and
	WHEREAS, Over the course of their marriage, this devoted 
couple have drawn strength and inspiration from one another, and 
Mr. Wise's distinguished public service in the Texas House of 
Representatives was made all the better with the love and support of 
his wife; and
	WHEREAS, An anniversary celebration is both a time to 
commemorate the past and a time to welcome the future, and even as 
Mike and Erin Wise may take great satisfaction in their 20 years of 
marriage, so too may they look forward to many more years of a 
relationship that continues to grow and flourish; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate the Honorable Miguel David Wise and 
Erin Duffy Wise on their 20th wedding anniversary and extend to them 
sincere best wishes as they continue their journey together; and, 
be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Wise as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
