H.R. No. 1911



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Cantrell of Mineola commemorated 
a special day in their lives when they celebrated their 55th wedding 
anniversary with an open house at the First Baptist Church in 
Mineola; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on April 19, 1950, in Rockwall, 
they were blessed with two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and 
John Bartone and Lisa and Gary Bright, and, they have shared in the 
joy of welcoming four grandchildren, Candace, Casey, Jeremy, and 
Christopher, into their family; and
	WHEREAS, The Cantrells moved from Garland to Mineola 36 years 
ago, and they are devoted congregants at the First Baptist Church in 
Mineola; and
	WHEREAS, For more than 55 years, this devoted couple have 
shared an enduring union, filling each other's lives with many 
happy times and cherished family memories, and it is a pleasure to 
honor them at this time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Horace Cantrell of 
Mineola on their 55th wedding anniversary and extend to them best 
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Cantrell as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
