R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, From May 31 to June 3, 2005, a group of esteemed 
Olympians and coaches will visit the Capital City to participate in 
the Speed and Fitness Camp, a unique event developed to encourage 
children to live healthier lives and establish themselves as 
community leaders; and
	WHEREAS, The Speed and Fitness Camp will help promote the 
city's health initiative, and is supported by Austin Olympians 
David Patrick and Sandra Farmer Patrick as well as 1988 and 2004 
Olympic coaches Sue Humphrey and Stan Huntsman and former 
University of Texas coach Paul Richards; other distinguished 
Olympians in attendance include Jackie Joyner Kersee, Michael 
Conley, Jon Drummond, Sanya Richards, Winthrop Graham, Catherine 
Scott, Dione Rose, and Sandie Richards; and
	WHEREAS, The Speed and Fitness Camp will undoubtedly offer 
everyone involved a rewarding and memorable experience, while 
setting countless young people on the path to making wiser and 
healthier lifestyle choices; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby recognize the Speed and Fitness Camp and the 
Olympians and coaches in attendance and extend to all those taking 
part in this worthwhile endeavor best wishes for the future.
