R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Rosario Perez is marking a special milestone in her 
life on May 26, 2005, when she graduates from the Texas School for 
the Deaf in Austin; and
	WHEREAS, A student at TSD for seven years, Ms. Perez is a 
well-rounded individual whose dedication to her studies led her to 
listings on the Gold and Silver Honor Rolls and whose dedication to 
helping others led her to volunteer to work with elementary school 
age Girl Scouts during her senior year; and
	WHEREAS, Her talent in the kitchen prompted her to 
participate in the Travis High School Culinary Arts Program and to 
cook in the kitchens of various hotels throughout Austin, and this 
invaluable experience will no doubt serve her well as she pursues a 
career as a chef; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Perez's past accomplishments are merely the 
prelude to a future bright with promise, and this remarkable young 
Texan is indeed deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Rosario Perez on the occasion of 
her graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to her 
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Perez as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
