H.R. No. 1955



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Every Texan deserves access to quality health care, 
and those institutions that bring the latest advancements in modern 
medicine to the people of the Lone Star State perform an invaluable 
public service; and
	WHEREAS, The opening of the Texas Tech Tornillo Pediatrics 
Center has brought knowledgeable physicians into the heart of this 
vibrant El Paso County community, and its presence there promises 
to greatly enhance area residents' quality of life; and
	WHEREAS, Young people are the Lone Star State's most precious 
resource, and their health and well-being should be the concern of 
every Texan; and
	WHEREAS, The creation of the Texas Tech Tornillo Pediatrics 
Center is an important step toward improving accessibility to 
affordable health care for the most vulnerable among us, and the 
center's able staff members are to be commended for the significant 
role they are playing in making this goal a reality; and
	WHEREAS, The addition of a health care facility to a 
community is indeed occasion for celebration, and we join the 
residents of Tornillo in welcoming their newest neighbors to the 
area; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commemorate the opening of the Texas Tech 
Tornillo Pediatrics Center and extend sincere best wishes to the 
members of its dedicated staff for great success with their 
important work.
