R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Edward and Evelyn Greer of Midland recently observed 
a special milestone in their marriage when they celebrated their 
golden wedding anniversary on May 6, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Greer and the former Evelyn Stanley were united 
in marriage on May 10, 1955, and their family includes four 
daughters, Gail Greer, Daphne Gee and her husband, James, Judy 
Dunham and her husband, Mike, and the late Vicki Lynn Greer, and 
five grandchildren, Adison, Brandon, and Chance Gee and Breeann and 
Hayden Dunham; and
	WHEREAS, Longtime residents of Midland, the Greers have been 
self-employed with Permian Petroleum Services, Inc., since 1984 and 
are active members of Cottonflat Baptist Church; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century, this devoted couple have 
nurtured and sustained a special bond, and their long and loving 
union is an inspiration to family and friends alike; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay tribute to Edward and Evelyn Greer and 
extend to them warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be 
it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Greer as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
