H.R. No. 2044
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The success of state government depends on the
active engagement of its citizens, and those young people who take
on the challenging position of legislative intern are indeed
deserving of our thanks and admiration; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Davidson is one such individual, and by
giving of her time and talents to work in the office of State
Representative Dan Gattis, she has made a notable contribution to
the 79th Texas Legislature; and
WHEREAS, All those associated with the legislative process
understand that lawmaking is first and foremost a collective
effort, one that would be impossible without the dedication, hard
work, and consistency of committed young people like Ms. Davidson;
and
WHEREAS, Although her internship at the State Capitol will
soon end, she has earned the lasting respect and appreciation of the
friends she has made in state government; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Elizabeth Davidson for her exemplary
service as a legislative intern in the office of State
Representative Dan Gattis and extend to her sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Davidson as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
