No. 2083R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the profound sadness felt by the family and friends of Joe Douglas Moore of Wimberley, who passed away on April 21, 2005, at the age of 48; and WHEREAS, From 2003 until 2005, Mr. Moore served as a high-line electrician for the Lower Colorado River Authority's Transmission Services Line Construction; prior to moving to Wimberley, he worked for more than 20 years as a lineman for CenterPoint Energy Houston; and WHEREAS, An exemplary employee of LCRA, he befriended landowners and residents of the areas where he was working and provided a positive representative of the LCRA among its customers and communities; and WHEREAS, Doug Moore will be remembered for his love of local music and the outdoors and his friendly, easygoing manner, and he will be deeply missed by all those who were privileged to know and love him; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Doug Moore and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family and to his many friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Doug Moore.
