R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The family and friends of Manuel F. Dominguez of 
Marfa were deeply saddened by his passing on May 1, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Born on June 14, 1941, in Marfa, Mr. Dominguez 
married his childhood sweetheart, Antonia Jurado, on February 14, 
1965; their union was blessed with two children, and they shared in 
the joy of welcoming five grandchildren into their cherished 
family; and
	WHEREAS, A valued member of the Knights of Columbus, Mr. 
Dominguez had retired from the Texas Department of Transportation 
after 30 years of notable service; and
	WHEREAS, A devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather and 
a cherished friend of many, Mr. Dominguez was always there for 
anyone in need, and his spirit of kindness and generosity will 
continue to live in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to 
have known him; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Manuel F. Dominguez 
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family:  to his 
wife, Antonia; to his daughter, Aurora Hernandez and her husband, 
Tony; to his son, Albert Dominguez and his wife, Melissa; to his 
grandchildren, Christopher, Coy, Chase, Levi, and Kaylee; to his 
mother, Lucila; to his sister, Dola Rodriguez and her husband, 
Manny; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Manuel F. 
Dominguez.
