R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Jeffrey Justin Ivey has earned the prestigious rank 
of Eagle Scout, and this noteworthy achievement is most deserving 
of special praise; and
	WHEREAS, In the course of completing the rank's demanding 
requirements, Eagle Scout Ivey has displayed superb judgment, 
initiative, and commitment, traits that will greatly benefit him as 
he faces the myriad challenges of the future; and
	WHEREAS, A valued and respected member of Troop 55 in Horizon 
City and a graduating senior at Americas High School, Mr. Ivey has 
followed and applied the scouting tenets well, garnering the 
requisite 21 merit badges in a host of diverse areas, and he has 
demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities as evidenced by the 
completion of his Eagle Scout project; and
	WHEREAS, Few are able to attain the rank of Eagle Scout, and 
Mr. Ivey has deservedly earned his place among scouting's elite; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Jeffrey Justin Ivey on his receipt 
of the Eagle Scout insignia and extend to him sincere best wishes 
for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Ivey as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
