R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The successful operation of the Texas House of 
Representatives during the 79th legislative session is aided by the 
efforts of House staff and the House parking attendants, who 
provide important service as part of that dedicated group; and
	 WHEREAS, Affiliated with the House Sergeant-at-Arms 
Department, the House parking attendants ensure that reserved 
parking spaces assigned to House members and their staffs are not 
occupied by unauthorized vehicles; they also help to ensure the 
safety of those vehicles and the well-being of their occupants; and
	WHEREAS, Performing these duties is essential to the 
day-to-day operations of the state legislature, and it is a 
pleasure to honor Jerry Amaya, Napoleon Colombo, Jose Leos, Charles 
McGuire, Billy Moore, Ralph Rios, LeRoy Swyhart, and Frank Wilson 
for their commitment to their jobs; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby recognize the House parking attendants and 
commend them for their assistance to the members of the Texas 
Legislature; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the House parking attendants as an expression of high 
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
