H.R. No. 2191



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The well-being of the people of Texas depends on 
economic prosperity throughout the state, and businesses that 
employ Texans and contribute to local economies are important 
components of a vibrant future; and
	WHEREAS, In 2005, Robroy Industries, Inc., a leader in the 
electrical products industry, is celebrating the 100th anniversary 
of its founding, and subsidiary Robroy Industries Texas LP in 
Gilmer is hosting an open house on June 3, 2005, to commemorate this 
special occasion; and
	WHEREAS, The company manufactures PVC-coated conduit and 
fittings and makes important contributions to its community by 
supporting such important endeavors as the March of Dimes and an 
annual scholarship program for local students; and
	WHEREAS, Robroy Industries enriches the lives of residents of 
the Gilmer area not only through its commitment to community 
service, but also through its responsible and ethical business 
practices, and it is appropriate to take this opportunity to 
recognize Robroy president and chief operating officer David 
Marshall and the company's employees; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Robroy Industries on the occasion of its 
100th anniversary and extend to all those who are associated with 
this noteworthy company sincere best wishes for continued success; 
and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Robroy Industries as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
