H.R. No. 2274



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Thousands of human services employees across the 
Lone Star State work tirelessly to help those in need receive 
critical benefits; and
	WHEREAS, These state employees have helped countless 
individuals and families obtain work and achieve self-sufficiency 
by giving them the tools to access a variety of resources in their 
communities and thereby laying the groundwork for a productive 
future; and
	WHEREAS, In moments of crisis, these dedicated employees have 
often intervened and provided much-needed support when family and 
friends were unavailable or unable to help; and
	WHEREAS, The strength and well-being of our communities 
depend on individuals such as those who work in human services; they 
have made untold sacrifices in behalf of others, and it is a 
privilege to honor their dedication to their fellow Texans; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor human services employees throughout the 
State of Texas and extend to them sincere best wishes for success 
with their important work.
