A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to safety hotline posting requirements for employers.                
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 411.081, Labor Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
	(c)  The commission shall adopt rules requiring that the 
notice required by Subsection (b) be posted:
		(1)  in a conspicuous place in the employer's place of 
business; and 
		(2)  in sufficient locations to be convenient to all 
employees.      
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
