A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to a fee charged for services provided by the staff of the
state law library.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 91.011, Government Code, is amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 91.011. LIBRARY SERVICE FEES. [(a)] The director of
the state law library may set and charge a fee for services provided
by state law library staff.
[(b) A fee set under Subsection (a) does not apply to a
public agency requiring services from the state law library staff.]
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the
legislative session.
