A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to surveys accepted by the Commissioner of the Land Office 
for filing in the official records of the Land Office.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 21.044, Subchapter B, Chapter 21, 
Natural Resources Code, is amended by adding the following as 
subsection (d):
	(d)  Nothing in this section shall require the commissioner 
or any surveyor to re-perform all or part of any survey after the 
date such survey is accepted by the commissioner for filing in the 
official records of the Land Office.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
