SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 4
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize the Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Childhood Center in Houston on the occasion of its dedication ceremony, which is taking place January 14, 2005; and WHEREAS, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Childhood Center will provide children the opportunity to be nurtured by dedicated teachers and other caregivers; and WHEREAS, The children served by the center will have the opportunity to gain important skills for the future through developmentally appropriate activities; and WHEREAS, The dedication ceremony of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Childhood Center is a joyful occasion for the community and provides an opportunity to celebrate the importance of providing early childhood centers for children; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 79th Legislature, hereby extend best wishes for a memorable dedication ceremony and a successful future for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Childhood Center; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the center as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
