SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 13

	WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and 
promise, Joel Coulter of Troop 609 in League City advanced 
through the ranks of Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life 
classes before recently attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and

	WHEREAS, In earning the coveted Eagle Badge, this fine 
young man has become one of the select few who achieve this 
distinguished honor; and

	WHEREAS, By conducting a service project that allowed 
him to exercise his leadership abilities, Joel completed the 
requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout and at the same time 
benefited his community; and

	WHEREAS, This personable young man has brought great honor 
to himself, his family, and his troop in joining the elite corps 
of Eagle Scouts; and

	WHEREAS, Joel is truly a shining example to his troop and 
to the young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 
79th Legislature, hereby commend Joel Coulter on earning the 
rank of Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his outstanding 
achievement; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
Eagle Scout Coulter as an expression of high regard from the 
Texas Senate.
