SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 29

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize all attending the groundbreaking ceremony for
the J.R. Reynolds Elementary School, which is taking place 
January 28, 2005; and

	WHEREAS, The groundbreaking ceremony will bring together 
school district officials, educators, and other members of the 
community to celebrate the launching of the new elementary school 
for the Houston Independent School District; and

	WHEREAS, When completed, the J.R. Reynolds Elementary 
School will be a valuable addition to the school district, 
providing students with an excellent education that will prepare 
them for future academic success; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to the Houston 
Independent School District on this occasion and best wishes for 
the future to all attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the 
J.R. Reynolds Elementary School; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as a 
memento of this special day.
