SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 189

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the 
citizens of Fort Worth and Dallas in recognizing the members of 
the KRNB "BJ in the Morning" crew on the occasion of their 
one-year anniversary in broadcasting; and

	WHEREAS, The "BJ in the Morning" crew conducts a vibrant 
program that includes interesting conversation, up-to-date news 
and weather reports, and sports and traffic reports; and

	WHEREAS, The anniversary of the "BJ in the Morning" show 
will be celebrated on February 22 at Nokia Live in Grand Prairie; 
and

	WHEREAS, The extraordinary Grammy-nominated artist, Jill 
Scott, whose debut platinum album in 2000 received five Grammy 
nominations, will be the featured singer at the affair; and

	WHEREAS, The entertaining "BJ in the Morning" show airs 
Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at 105.7; 
the show provides a welcome diversion for commuters every 
morning, and it is truly fitting that the Texas Senate recognize 
this outstanding radio show crew; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby honor the members of the KRNB "BJ in the 
Morning" crew on the occasion of their first anniversary and wish 
them continued success in their future endeavors; and, be it 
further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as an 
expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
