SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 360
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize FAIM Economic and Development Corporation for its work in community education and empowerment; and WHEREAS, Nonprofit and faith-based, this organization teaches biblical principles of finance to individuals, local businesses, and church congregations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex; and WHEREAS, Since its inception, FAIM Economic and Development Corporation has served over 2,000 individuals, groups, and families; in 2002, it received the National Award of Merit from the Rainbow/Push Coalition's One Thousand Churches Connection as being the most consistent ministry throughout the community; and WHEREAS, To achieve its objectives of educating, empowering, and facilitating a sense of spiritual stewardship and economic health, this dedicated organization provides its many services free of charge to the community; the organization is holding a Pastor Empowerment Mixer on March 24; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 79th Legislature, hereby recognize FAIM Economic and Development Corporation for its contributions to the Dallas/Fort Worth community; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the organization as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
