SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 403

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Johnnie Sielbeck on the occasion of her retirement from 
the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts after more than 
26 years of outstanding service to the state; and

	WHEREAS, Johnnie has played a vital role in many redesigns 
of Fiscal Notes, the flagship publication of the Office of the 
Comptroller of Public Accounts; she has found many creative ways 
to use the image of the Capitol in her design work; and

	WHEREAS, Using her talents on such varied projects as
Texas State Fair booths, appointment certificates, and the
"It's Texas, Here's Why" publication in 1989, Johnnie has always 
worked on a project until it met her exacting specifications; and

	WHEREAS, Johnnie has witnessed the change from typesetting 
to computer design and has mastered each technical advancement; 
with her keen eye for detail and flair for design, she has always 
been respected and admired by her colleagues for her artistic 
talent; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby commend Johnnie Sielbeck for her many 
years of exemplary service and extend to her best wishes for an 
enjoyable retirement; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
