SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 413
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the alumni of Central High School of Parkin, Arkansas,
on the special occasion of their 2005 biennial All-School High
School Reunion; and
WHEREAS, Reuniting in San Antonio June 23 through June 25,
the alumni of Central High School are meeting to reminisce about
their high school experiences, renew old acquaintances and
remember what it was to be part of a special student body; and
WHEREAS, In coming together to celebrate their reunion,
the alumni of Central High School are expressing their enduring
commitment to tradition, unity and loyal friendship; and
WHEREAS, The school's last graduating class was in
May of 1970, and although Central High School no longer exists,
it has served as a lasting bond for its former students, many of
whom have kept in touch with each other throughout the years; and
WHEREAS, The alumni of Central High School have become
successful and productive men and women who have contributed
greatly to their communities, and they can be proud of their
achievements; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby commend the alumni of Central High School
of Parkin, Arkansas, for their many accomplishments and extend
to them best wishes for a joyful reunion; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
them as a memento of this occasion.
