SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 436

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased 
to recognize Bobbie Mendez on the occasion of her retirement 
for more than 25 years of distinguished service to the 
State of Texas; and

	WHEREAS, Since the beginning of her service in the 
Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts in 1979, Bobbie 
has displayed the highest degree of professionalism and 
dedication and has set standards of excellence for others 
to follow; and

	WHEREAS, Bobbie has brought her considerable talents 
to bear in a wide range of responsibilities at the Fiscal 
Management Division; and

	WHEREAS, The State of Texas has benefited greatly from 
her energy, enthusiasm, and expertise; Bobbie Mendez is justly
deserving of legislative recognition for her outstanding 
service; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 
79th Legislature, hereby express appreciation to Bobbie Mendez
for her many years of loyal and dedicated service to the 
State of Texas; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared 
for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
