SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 442

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Love-Joy Glory Church of Houston on the occasion of its 
Easter celebration, March 27, 2005; and

	WHEREAS, An outreach to the less fortunate in the 
community, this celebration will feature a barbecue dinner, 
special music, and praise dancers as well as an Easter egg hunt 
for the children; and

	WHEREAS, By reaching out to its neighbors and the homeless 
in the Second and Third Wards, Love-Joy Glory Church is working 
hard to fulfill its mission and set an example for others to 
follow; and

	WHEREAS, The spirit of generosity of Love-Joy Glory Church 
is an inspiration to others, and the Houston community has 
greatly benefited from the altruistic efforts of the church; now, 
therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby commend the members and clergy of 
Love-Joy Glory Church for their many generous contributions to 
the Houston community and extend to them best wishes for a joyous 
Easter celebration; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
