SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 618
In Memory
of
Donald Timothy Hart
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
of San Antonio in mourning the loss of Donald Timothy Hart, who
died March 14, 2005, at the age of 80; and
WHEREAS, Donald T. Hart was born August 24, 1924; as a
young man, he served his country in the United States Army; and
WHEREAS, He was an exemplary citizen of San Antonio, and he
was a longtime employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company,
from which he had retired after a 40-year career; and
WHEREAS, A man of integrity, strength, and generosity,
Donald Hart gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, warmth,
and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him;
and
WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather,
and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by
his family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
bereaved family of Donald Timothy Hart: his wife of 59 years,
Maurice G. Hart; his sons and daughters-in-law, Dale R. and
Elsa Hart and Dain A. and Laura Hart; his grandchildren, Jason,
Melissa, Matthew, Jaimee, and Natalie; and his
great-grandchildren, Jayden, Avery, and Alik; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the
Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do
so in memory of Donald T. Hart.
