SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 696
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Lieutenant Colonel James P. Zitrick, who is retiring 
from the Texas Air National Guard on June 1, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Through his service as a C-130 navigator in 
the 181st Airlift Squadron, Lieutenant Colonel Zitrick has 
contributed to the security and well-being of the nation through 
his skill and devotion to duty; and
	WHEREAS, For 28 years, Lieutenant Colonel Zitrick has 
served the Texas Air National Guard with deep loyalty, 
dedication, commitment, and courage; and
	WHEREAS, An inspiration to all who have served with him, 
Lieutenant Colonel Zitrick is justly deserving of recognition; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby commend Lieutenant Colonel James P. Zitrick
for his years of outstanding service to the Texas Air National 
Guard; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
