SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 728

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Amy-Kristen Charisse Jones on the occasion of her 
graduation from Prairie View A&M University; and

	WHEREAS, After having successfully completed her course 
work, Amy-Kristen is receiving a master's degree in community 
development from the College of Architecture on May 7, 2005; and

	WHEREAS, An exemplary young woman and a high achiever, 
Amy-Kristen establishes her goals and pursues them with 
perseverance and clear-sightedness; and

	WHEREAS, Amy-Kristen has planned well for her future, and 
her notable achievements in school are evidence of her dedication 
and outstanding abilities; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby commend Amy-Kristen Charisse Jones on 
earning a master's degree in community development from 
Prairie View A&M University and extend to her best wishes for 
success in the years ahead; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
