SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 740
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Angela J. Ingels as a treasured citizen of our state; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Southern Methodist University and
Brookhaven College, Angela has dedicated many years to the study
of dance, including the Cecchetti ballet method, and she holds
over 30 certifications in tap, ballet pointe, jazz, resistance
training, and Pilates; and
WHEREAS, As associate director of the Arabesque Studio of
Dance, Angela has served as a mentor, coach, and motivator to
youths and adults; for over a 25-year-period, she has shared her
talents with over 12,000 students; and
WHEREAS, The reigning Miss Lone Star Galaxy 2005, Angela has won
numerous other titles and pageants, including Miss Wichita Falls 1990
and Supreme National Ideal Miss America 2004; and
WHEREAS, An energetic volunteer for numerous causes, Angela
has served the Dallas community as a member of the Phi Mu Fraternity,
a service organization; she is the founder of Angela's Angels, a
dance group that performs for retirement centers, parades, and
many charity events; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby commend Angela J. Ingels for her leadership
and her valuable contributions to her community; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
