SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 818
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Alisa Manning Peppers as the incoming president of the 
Houston chapter of the Texas Exes, the alumni association of
The University of Texas at Austin; and
	WHEREAS, Alisa is the vice president of marketing and sales 
with CPR Seminars; she has had 11 years of sales and marketing 
experience working for the world's largest food company and has 
amassed over $3 million in sales; and
	WHEREAS, A reception was held April 27, 2005, at El Patio 
Restaurant in Houston by the Texas Exes to honor Alisa for 
earning this important position; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby honor Alisa Manning Peppers as she takes 
the position of president of the Houston chapter of the
Texas Exes; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
