SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 837

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased
to recognize Dana Marie Caldwell of Lake Jackson on the 
occasion of her home school graduation on May 21, 2005; 
and

	WHEREAS, Dana demonstrated exceptional diligence 
and perseverance in achieving her goals; while completing 
her requirements for a high school diploma at home, she was 
concurrently enrolled at a college and worked part-time; 
and

	WHEREAS, A devout Christian, Dana is known for her 
honesty and her thoroughness in completing her objectives; 
she helped start a new church in Brazoria County, and through 
her membership in Delta Epsilon Chi, she has been active in 
community service; and

	WHEREAS, Dana has successfully faced the many challenges 
of a home school education, and she is well prepared to embark 
on an adventure into a world that holds countless exciting 
opportunities for her; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 
79th Legislature, hereby commend Dana Marie Caldwell for her 
exemplary accomplishments and extend congratulations to her 
on her graduation with many good wishes for future success 
in all of her endeavors; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared 
for her as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
