SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 893

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great 
pleasure in congratulating Yolanda Uresti on the occasion of her 
40th birthday, which was celebrated on April 15, 2005; and

	WHEREAS, There was no slipping discreetly from the 
glorious 30s into the fabulous 40s for this lovely lady, for her 
husband invited their many friends to witness the occasion at a 
surprise birthday party; and

	WHEREAS, Yolanda Uresti is an outstanding civic leader and 
volunteer in the San Antonio community; she is the devoted wife 
of Representative Carlos Uresti and the mother of two sons, 
Michael and Carlitos; and

	WHEREAS, The occasion of her 40th birthday is an excellent 
opportunity to pay tribute to this esteemed and talented lady who 
has contributed so much to the happiness of her family and the 
well-being of the San Antonio community; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby extend warm greetings to Yolanda Uresti 
on the grand occasion of her 40th birthday and best wishes for the 
future; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of admiration from the Texas Senate.
