SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 921

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Kathy Robertson for her more than 28 years of distinguished
service to the State of Texas; and

	WHEREAS, She began her career serving the citizens of Texas 
with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, where she was a 
valued member of the law enforcement division for 17 years; and

	WHEREAS, In 1995, Kathy brought her talents to the Office 
of the Comptroller of Public Accounts, where she has displayed 
the highest degree of professionalism in numerous capacities; and

	WHEREAS, Kathy's positions with the comptroller's office 
have encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, from information
technology to customer service to applications support, and she has
continually set standards of excellence for others to follow; and

	WHEREAS, The State of Texas has benefited greatly from
the dedication and expertise of this admirable individual, and 
Kathy Robertson is justly deserving of recognition for her 
outstanding service; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby express its sincere appreciation to 
Kathy Robertson for her many years of loyal and dedicated service 
to the State of Texas; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
