SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 928

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased 
to recognize Rebecca Walton on the occasion of her graduation 
from Texas Southern University; and

	WHEREAS, After having successfully completed her course 
work, Rebecca received a bachelor's degree in administration 
of justice from the Mickey Leland and Barbara Jordan School of 
Public Affairs on May 14, 2005; and

	WHEREAS, An exemplary young woman and a high achiever, 
Rebecca establishes her goals and pursues them with perseverance
and clear-sightedness; and

	WHEREAS, Rebecca has planned well for her future, and her
notable achievements in school are evidence of her dedication 
and outstanding abilities; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 
79th Legislature, hereby commend Rebecca Walton on earning 
a bachelor's degree in administration of justice from Texas 
Southern University and extend to her best wishes for success 
in the years ahead; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
