SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 931

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Johnte' Archer Harris on the occasion of her graduation 
from Pepperdine University School of Law; and

	WHEREAS, After having successfully completed her course 
work, Johnte' received a juris doctor degree from the School of Law
on May 20, 2005; and

	WHEREAS, An exemplary young woman and a high achiever, 
Johnte' establishes her goals and pursues them with perseverance 
and clear-sightedness; and

	WHEREAS, Johnte' has planned well for her future, and her 
notable achievements in school are evidence of her dedication
and outstanding abilities; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby commend Johnte' Archer Harris on 
earning a juris doctor degree from the Pepperdine University 
School of Law and extend to her best wishes for success in the 
years ahead; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
