SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 945 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Joe Wiseman, who is retiring as principal of North Pointe Elementary School after an exemplary 40-year career as an educator in the Clear Creek Independent School District; and WHEREAS, Joe Wiseman began working with the Clear Creek Independent School District on September 1, 1965, teaching sixth grade at Stewart Elementary School; he taught next at Whitcomb Elementary School and then at Seabrook Intermediate School, where he served as a department head; and WHEREAS, He served as principal at McWhirter Elementary School for two years and at League City Intermediate School for 14 years; he has been principal at North Pointe Elementary School since 1995; and WHEREAS, Joe Wiseman is admired and respected by all who know him for his commitment to educating the young people of the Clear Creek Indpendent School District; he recently received the Sunshine Award from KPRC-TV for his exceptional service to the children of the community; and WHEREAS, A dedicated and resourceful educator, Joe Wiseman has had a positive influence on the lives of many students and teachers, and his presence at North Pointe Elementary School and as an administrator in the Clear Creek Independent School District will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 79th Legislature, hereby commend Joe Wiseman for his many contributions to the Clear Creek Independent School District and to the education system of this state and extend to him best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
