SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1039
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Regina Ann Lamb for her leadership and her service to
her community; and
WHEREAS, Regina was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, almost
82 years ago and is a longtime McAllen resident; after moving to
McAllen, she worked for 20 years at the Executive Steakhouse and
for many years at the Paradise Coffee Shop; and
WHEREAS, She has an exemplary career with Pepper's Bar and
Grill, where she has worked for 15 years and has never missed a
day except for the time she had knee surgery; and
WHEREAS, Regina's popularity at the restaurant is such that
many customers are prepared to wait as long as it takes to sit in
her section; and
WHEREAS, She is a faithful member of Our Lady of Sorrows
Church, and she enjoys walking and spending time with her
daughter and grandson; and
WHEREAS, Regina is beloved and respected by all who know
her and is noted for her engaging personality and her enthusiasm
for living each day to the fullest; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, hereby commend Regina Ann Lamb for her
exemplary service to the McAllen community and extend to her best
wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
