SENATE RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Texas, 79th Legislature, Regular Session, 2005, That Senate Rule 12.03 be suspended in part as provided by Senate Rule 12.08 to enable the conference committee appointed to resolve the differences on House Bill 1835 (the apportionment of municipal infrastructure costs in regard to certain property development projects) to consider and take action on the following matter: Senate Rule 12.03(1) is suspended to permit the committee to change the text of SECTION 2 of the bill to read as follows: SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies to the approval of a development project that is not finally adjudicated before the effective date of this Act. Explanation: The change is necessary to ensure that the changes in law made by the bill apply to a matter that has not been finally determined by a court before the effective date of the Act. _______________________________ President of the Senate I hereby certify that the above Resolution was adopted by the Senate on May 28, 2005. _______________________________ Secretary of the Senate
