No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require each state agency to provide the Texas Building and Procurement Commission (TBPC) with copies of each major contract ($5 million and above) the agency has entered into and each request for proposal, invitation to bid, or solicitation related to the major contract. TBPC would be required to post this information on its electronic procurement system, and the Department of Information Resources would be required to make this information accessible to government entities and the public.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
