IN RE:
HB55 by Grusendorf (Relating to the designation of the portion of Interstate Highway 20 inside Kaufman, Dallas, and Tarrant Counties as the Ronald Reagan Memorial Highway.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to design, construct, and erect markers designating the portion of Interstate Highway 20 inside Kaufman, Dallas and Tarrant Counties as the Ronald Reagan Memorial Highway to the extent that money is available for this purpose from a grant or donation of private funds.  Based on the analysis of TxDOT, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
