HB68 by McClendon (Relating to public nuisance actions involving criminal street gangs.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would increase from six to twelve months the maximum amount of continous time in which at least five incidents must occur to be included as an offense related to criminal gang activity. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005 and apply only to activities occuring on or after that date or within six months prior to the effective date.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
