HB76 by Hope (Relating to the operation of a watercraft while intoxicated.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code as it relates to the operation of a watercraft while intoxicated to include boating while intoxicated as an offense resulting in automatic driver license suspension.  The Department of Public Safety, the Department of Criminal Justice, and the Alcoholic Beverage Commission report that the bill would not have a significant fiscal implication.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
