No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add the offenses of Murder, Manslaughter, Criminally Negligent Homicide, and Intoxication Manslaughter to the list of cases for which a court may release a defendant on personal bond. The bill would remove Deadly Assault on Law Enforcement or Corrections Officer, Member or Employee of Board of Pardons and Paroles, or Court Participant from the list of offenses for which a court may release a defendant on personal bond.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
