No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would restrict a housing authority from paying for lobbying expenses and would make a violation a Class A misdemeanor. The bill would apply only to an offense committed on or after the effective date of the bill, which would be September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
