No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. The board of trustees of a school district may spend more time at board meetings hearing the petitions of eligible non-resident students, but this is not expected to add to the costs of the school board.
