No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

To the extent the provisions of the bill would extend the review process of the textbook review panels to determine viewpoint discrimination or special interest advocacy, the Texas Education Agency may face increased costs related to those panels, but these costs should not be significant.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
