No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to allow inclusion in an agreement, when an agreement exists between two municipalities or a municipality and a county for providing emergency ambulance services, authorization for police officers of the municipality responding to the emergency to secure the scene. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives the required two-thirds vote in both houses; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2005.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
