No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require a person wanting to erect a gate on a third-class or neighborhood road to first obtain approval from the county commissioners court. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

The county may experience minimal administrative costs.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
