February 21, 2005

TO:
Honorable Robert Puente, Chair, House Committee on Natural Resources

FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Deputy Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB356 by Callegari (Relating to the repeal of the statutory provision regarding the adoption and use by the Texas Water Development Board of a capital spending plan for certain state-funded water-related programs under the board's jurisdiction.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would remove the requirement that the Water Development Board prepare a Capital Spending Plan each year. Because the agency currently does not allocate significant resources to this activity, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
